• System load: Background processes, CPU usage, and number of browser tabs can affect polling rates and latency measurements.

For that reason, test results should be treated as approximate estimates and not as definitive hardware measurements. For professional-grade diagnostics, we recommend supplementing browser-based testing with platform-specific tools (e.g., Xbox Accessories app, DS4Windows).

Hardware Safety

Some of our tools interact directly with your controller's hardware:

• Vibration Test: Sends vibration commands to controller motors. Prolonged or excessive vibration testing may accelerate motor wear or drain batteries faster.
• Audio Test: Plays audio tones through connected audio outputs. High volumes or certain frequencies may be uncomfortable.

GPad Tester is not responsible for any hardware damage, battery drain, or discomfort resulting from the use of these tools. Please use them responsibly and within reasonable limits.
